Hello & welcome to AuzzieInK.L com. Vacation home / apartment in Kuala Lumpur's most beautiful location.  My name is Peter & i live in K.L with my wife ( June ) a local girl and my son, we have been in living at the maple condo since October 2006 and during that time we have had guests from all over the world. It is fantastic to meet everyone that comes through our doors and it gives us great pleasure when our guests leave having had a wonderful time here in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. One of the comments we get time and time again is that our guests appreciate having someone that speaks their language and can understand what it is they are looking for and where they wish to go.

( That's why we decided to do this site.) We live on site and make ourselves available to help you get more out of your vacation. I personally ensure i am available to sit down over a cuppa or a cold one to assist our guests in whichever way possible. Whether you have been to K.l or not we will look after you either way: If you want privacy you've got it, need assistance no problem!

We let our guests know we are here if needed, invisible if you don't. K.L is a magical place to come and explore, no matter your objective we are here to help. Looking for the best place to bag some bargains, no problem, want to hit the night markets, no problem, there are the tourist markets such as china town where you can get slaughtered on the price if you are not familiar with what you should be paying and there are the suburban markets where you can get pretty much the same things, but without the hard sell and the high mark ups. ( these are where the locals shop and that should tell you something. )

Worried about the local food no need to my wife loves her food and having spent some time overseas can advise you as to what may or may not suit your taste, from spicy dishes to the very safe ones, and for those not too adventurous we have local eateries where you can indulge in some western food.

We can assist with your sight seeing needs ie which places are easier and better to see on your  own ( such as batu caves a 10-15 minute drive from our place ) without having the pressure to see it all so quick because the tour bus is ready to move on as with some tour companies, and which sights you are best to see and do with a tour company.  One of the newer tourist attractions to K.L is the hop on hop off bus a service that lets you see 40 of K.L.'s attractions disembarking at 22 different locations here is the web page    http://www.myhoponhopoff.com/services.html and a map to show you the places you will visit    http://www.myhoponhopoff.com/Pictures/NewRouteMap.jpg tickets start at RM 17.00 for students and RM 38 for adults, the buses pass by every 1/2 hr and there is an open air area to sit on top of the dble decker buses ( great on a nice day). 

If you are looking for some where close to the city and easy to get around from then we fit the bill,
our vacation home is just 10 minutes from the city center and 5 km from from the twin towers, you can get in and out of town on the buses, trains and taxis, and even by monorail if you catch a bus or taxi
up the road from the monorail station. We have had some very large families stay with us and all have found getting in, about and around K.L a breeze from our central location. Looking to hire a car whilst in town, no problem under cover car parking is available for you at no extra cost.

Don't know what to do? looking for ideas to keep the kids happy, there is an abundance of things to do in and around K.L. At Mid valley shopping center ( 5 stops away on the train ) there is a movie complex, ten pin bowling, mega kidz indoor playground, a fun parlour + plenty of food courts for after the fun. At the petronas twin towers you can take the kidz to the Petronas science center and Aquaria K.L.C.C and at times square shopping center in the city there is cosmos world ( Indoor theme park ) where a day ticket will only set you back RM 25.00  Within 1 and 1/2 hrs of K.L you can go to the Selangor Fire flies, Sungai Klah Hot water spings, Kuala  Gundah Elephants sanctuary ( ride the elephants ) and Pahang deer land,  a small animal reserve, ( feed the animals ), go carting in Puchong and for great outdoor fun, sunway lagoon water theme park.

So much to do so little time, close to home and within a 10 minute drive of our place are the Kuala Lumpur lake gardens and within lake gardens you have the kuala Lumpur hibiscus gardens, Kuala Lumpur Orchid gardens, K.L butterfly park and the K.L bird park, around the park there are plenty of places to settle down and have a picnic you can even hire out a paddle boat down at the Lake for RM 6.00 and there are some great out door playgrounds for the kids
